AERIAL TALLAHASSEE
Alex and Chelsea Workman moved to Tallahassee in 2014. Through a series of unexpected events, The Workmans found themselves 6 months later stuck in a city they didn’t love with a baby on the way and very little family and friends nearby. They had to make the decision to make the best of the situation and learn to love the place they would be for the foreseeable future. Playing off their backgrounds in photography, Alex convinced Chelsea to let him buy a drone and they started taking aerial photos of Tallahassee. The first picture was posted on June 15, 2015 with the hashtag #AerialTallahassee. Their goal was to show family and friends photos of their new home from a different perspective.
They created social media accounts for people to follow and through friends sharing images and word spreading, Aerial Tallahassee quickly became a way for The Workmans to help tell the story of their new city from the sky.
